Hope Begins Where Our Mission Takes Root

Effatha Charity Watch is a charitable trust that was founded in 2009, with its significant and noble motive of lifting the often unsung and underprivileged strata of our society. ECW, the cherished dream of its Founder, Mr. Rogers, & the Co-Founder, Mrs.Valarina Rogers.The Charity Watch is now over a decade old and has been actively involved in various ways of improving life and bringing smiles across the faces of hundreds of people.

In the words of Mark Twain, “To get the full value of joy, you must have someone to divide it with.”

Effatha , as the name suggests, believes in sharing its joy with the downtrodden sections of our society and opening up doors of opportunities for their families. Some of the core areas that are being focused on and something that desperately needs adequate attention is the upliftment of the rural population, especially women.

ECW has conducted camps to promote Eye Health Care in a world such as today’s, wherein people tend to neglect the “window to the world,” thanks to their hectic, tech-controlled lifestyle. The health camp drew about 5,600 people across Karnataka and from all walks of life, giving them a clear insight into their eyesight.

Distribution of over 6,000 sarees for rural women, clothes for their children, and thousands of warm blankets to the street dwellers—these are just a few of the many steps in the long and winding staircase of Effatha Charity Watch.

With its core value of helping the rural sections shine out in the society, Effatha has provided ample opportunities for budding students by helping them attain secure jobs. Employment Drives were conducted to discover deserving individuals and endow them with essential employment opportunities and ease the burden for themselves and their families.In a country like India, education is the most significant factor that molds the lives of people. It is the weapon that knows no color or caste or creed or status of the individual and can be equipped with anybody that desires it.

However, it is an unfortunate fact that in reality, it is only accessible to the elite classes of our society. It has become an entity that can be bought with money, fame and influence.

With this as the backdrop of today’s scenario, ECW has helped the underprivileged students realize their dreams of making it big in the world today. ECW has lended moral and monetary means of support in shaping the lives of such deserving children. From funding their school fees to encouraging them to pursue their dreams, Effatha has come a long way in giving hope to their future.

ECW has also taken up the role of being a parent to the orphans by aiding them with basic necessities such as food, clothing, education and a dependable means of a brighter future.
However, above all the tangible, monetary resources it has equipped them with, Effatha takes most pride and pleasure in its endeavour of successfully bringing back a smile across the faces of every child and mother it has had the privilege of meeting.

Further, ECW has had the privilege of creating, producing and releasing Christian devotional music, to give thanks to God as well as promote unity and peace among fellow human beings. The first song, Pudhu Pudhu Paadalai was a Pan India track released in a whopping 6 languages, and proved to be a massive hit among the public, having gained over a million views within few days after it’s release! This encouraged us to carry on the pursuit, and today, ECW has a long list of lined up music projects waiting to be released for the glory of God and the joy of people. To be precise, ECW aims at releasing about a 100+ songs. Thanks to the immense response from our viewers and subscribers, we hope to fulfill this mission with your cooperation, prayers and encouragement.

In addition to this, ECW has also produced, directed and released a Short Film called “KIKI”, which highlights the importance of equality among all human beings. The film, which talks about the challenges faced by the transgender society, has inspired many young people to practice equality and kindness. The Short Film went on to participate at the International Short Film Festival in 2023, and went on to win a magnificent record of 16 Awards in a variety of categories. KIKI was officially released by Shri. Murgesh Nirani, the then Honorable Industrial Minister, Government of Karnataka.

Having found tremendous success in the first hit devotional song, ECW went on to release 2 more Pan India devotional songs, namely Alpha & Omega in 2024, and Rajadhi Raja in 2025, both of which garnered thousands of views. ECW takes immense pride in this feat and is glad to continue spreading the message of love and hope in a disturbed and distraught world.

ECW is also open to creating, producing, and collaborating with any individual/s or Institutions (churches, schools, hospitals, colleges, social bodies) for any audio, video, movie or music-related content. We are, in fact, thrilled to have the pleasure of sharing your company in this domain and purpose. Our in-house ECW team also plans on touring nationally and internationally to present the music we have created. Churches and any other Christian religious institutions are most welcome to call us if you have any programmes lined up that might need our presence. Being pioneers of producing multilingual Christian music, it gives us the opportunity to tour across every nook and corner of India, and cater to the ears and hearts of people across most major Indian languages.

Effatha Charity Watch, thus, aims to redefine the art of being the Jack of All Trades, and shall continue in its endeavours to make the world a brighter place by serving humanity and giving purpose and meaning to all those in search of it, especially the most needy and talented individuals.
